Nara Audio Guide app for iPhone and iPad

"Nara Audio Guide" is an official application of Nara Prefecture.
"Nara Audio Guide" introduces the shrines and temples in Nara Prefecture through audio guides to the users.
Audio videos are designed for on-site use at each shrine and temple, although some audio videos may be viewed off-site.

As a first step, the audio guide for "Kasuga Taisha Shrine" and “Tōdai-ji Temple” have been recorded.

"Nara Audio Guide" aims to introduce users to the beauty of the ancient capital Nara through audio guides.
In order to provide enjoyment to more visitors, the app is available in English, Chinese (simplified) and Korean.

▽Offline contents
Many features are available without internet connection.
The app can be used without worrying about communication environment even in places where internet connection environment has not been fully established.

▽Beacon delivery contents
Beacon equipment have been set up in guide spots at shrines and temples. The audio guides can be played once the users are within the range of a beacon.

・Guide spots in the temple and shrine are introduced along with pictures. Audio guide contents can be viewed while receiving beacons.

・Displayed language in the app can be changed.
・Following 3 language settings are available: English, Chinese (simplified) and Korean.

■ Notes
・Please always use earphones (headphones) when using the app. Some parts of the audio guide may be used indoor. Please be careful not to cause a nuisance to other visitors.
Some recorded audio guides may not be available depending on the time of the year.
・The use of some features may become difficult depending on the status of the network and server.
・Some information displayed in each feature may contain contents copied directly from other websites.
The accuracy of the information displayed in this app should be gauged by users themselves when using the app.
